Our Annual Festive Tasting day is nearly here…
Our apple pressing day returns for the half term holidays. Tractor and trailer rides to the orchards to collect apples, on return watch the apples being pressed into juice and taste freshly prepared apple juice. We would advise booking tickets in advance – more information to follow soon…
This has been proving popular recently, our breakfast rolls and baguette menu are freshly prepared and available to purchase to take away on a daily basis.
We are now stocking the following squash:
Crown prince
Onion
Butternut
Pumpkin
Crown prince is renowned for making lovely soup!
Well we are finally in and ready to see you all in our new shop.
The old shop looks tiny in comparison to the new footprint; it seems impossible that we ran a business in such a tiny cramped space. Short-term we are keeping the old shop in place, just until we work out how to move it around to a new concreate base at the back of the farm. This will be then used for storage and maybe some other activities in the future.
We would love you to come and give us your feedback and thoughts on how we can make the shop a success in 2017.
Over the next few days we will be moving all stock from the old Farm Shop to the new one. The shop will be open as usual but there might be a few distractions so please bear with us.
We plan to do most of the transfer of produce from 3pm on Sunday, with the aim to be open in the new shop 9am Monday. Entrance will be via the new car park and Tea Room area until the old shop building is moved to its new home.
David, the family and I area really looking forward to welcoming you to the new bigger, brighter Ellenden Farm Shop and hope to see you all in there soon to check out what we’ve done and take a look at the larger range of locally sourced meat, fruit, veg, pickles, beers, dairy and bakery.
Thanks
Sara
