New Garden Furniture

Hello All

I think David feels he definitely made the right decision to bale the haylage last Friday, the showery week would not have been conducive to hay making, and if the grass goes "to seed" it does not make good quality hay.  Another late Friday evening again this week, tendering to the Winter Wheat crops.

Local Cherries
We are now proud to be stocking cherries from Great Whitely, these were a huge success last year. Phillip delivered freshly picked from the Worcestershire trees Friday morning  - They are definitely worth the wait.

Harvington Gooseberries
Cyril popped in to see us yesterday, laden with his home grown gooseberries!  Vibrant, Fresh looking fruit, it was lovely to see Cyril looking so well too.

Ellenden Beef & Merguez Sausages
After lots of customer requests, both Merguez (Spicy beef & lamb) and Beef sausages are back, fresh on the shelf - both these products are made with beef and lamb reared on our farm.

Congratulations - Loyalty Prize Draw
It was a pleasure to present Carol with her winning loyalty prize hamper.  We hope you enjoy the Mediterranean lamb dish and all the seasonal veg.

Ellenden Tea Room
You may remember a while ago I promised some changes to the seating in our outside garden area.  I am pleased to say our garden furniture has arrived today. There will no longer be the need to climb over the picnic tables, we have four sets of tables and chairs, and two sets of companion seats.   The beautiful view across Ellenden farmland can now be enjoyed with greater comfort.

Afternoon Tea
Thank you to Karen for sharing this lovely photo of her family enjoying Afternoon Tea for 5. A customer who was shopping at the time was so impressed, he bought an Afternoon Tea Voucher for his fiancée. Vouchers do make a lovely present, and we do our very best to make all our customers feel very special.

Finally...

We all watched the game as a family Wednesday evening, it seems surreal that our national team has made it through to the final of a major competition, the first in my lifetime! I was very saddened to hear some of the crowd booing to the Danish National Anthem, and even more dismayed to see a laser being directed at Kasper Schmeichel. Not at all in the spirit of the game.  However given the chance I would love to have taken my sporty family to watch such an historic game.

Fingers crossed Gareth Southgate's team create history and become Euro 2020 winners - Good Luck England, whatever the result you have lifted the nation - Thank you!

Take Care
